Chaplain

The Chief Chaplain oversees religious volunteers from various denominations who provide spiritual encouragement and educational services to inmates at the Poinsett County Jail.

The Office of the Chief Chaplain is responsible for providing a confidential environment for the employees of the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office and their immediate family members. At an employee's request, births, hospitalizations, and deaths are reported to the agency through the Chaplain.
